About our training facility
Our indoor training facility is heated and air conditioned.
It is located behind Animal Ark Veterinary Hospital, 3515 Lawrence St, Clemmons, NC 27012.
Park in the lot across the street, proceed up the driveway behind the hospital, classes are upstairs. See map below.
You must bring your dog’s vaccination record to class, updated within the last six months. It is strongly recommended that you include the new two-part flu vaccine (H3N8 and H3N2 for Canine Influenza) and Bordatella (Intranasal for Kennel Cough). Vaccines must be completed 10 days before classes start. No one will be allowed into class without proof of vaccination. Veterinary records may be emailed to info@justdogsacademy.com or texted to 415-545-1168.
We believe that the right training not only teaches you and your dog valuable skills, but is also one of the best ways to bond with your pet.

With more than 40 years experience as a dog trainer, we've perfected the best ways to teach techniques to both owners and their pets. We'll help you and your pet build a great relationship with each other.
We believe training is more than just teaching dogs commands - it's about showing them how to be a part of your family unit, with you as their "pack leader." We teach your dog how to look to you for leadership and companionship.
Some dogs - and owners, for that matter - are easier to teach than others. We've met just about every kind out there and successfully trained even the most challenging ones, including special needs owners and dogs.
Everyone learns better in a small setting - and dogs are no different than people. We offer limited class sizes so we can devote time and attention to each dog and owner in the class, promoting a more successful learning experience.
puppy Courses
Dogs ages two to five months will learn quickly in this five-week course that builds the foundation for a dog to be trainable and develop into a bonded companion for its owner and family.
BASIC Courses
Whether your dog is six months or six years old, it can continue to learn. This six-week course will establish and reinforce obedience while building a strong “pack” relationship between dog and owner.
PRIVATE LESSONS & MoRE
We offer Canine Good Citizen and Professional Dog Show Handling courses. Upon request, we can schedule one-on-one lessons. Sometimes, this works better for the owner's schedule and the dog’s temperament, although socialization with other dogs is always encouraged.
